Over 30,000 tourism commodities dazzle visitors in Jinhua

The 2024 China Distinctive Tourism Commodities Competition concluded at the Yiwu International Expo Center in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Oct 15.

A total of 2,062 pieces/sets of commodities from various regions were registered for the competition, with nearly 30,000 pieces entering the final round, surpassing previous years' entries.

A panel of experts conducted on-site evaluations, finally awarding 100 gold prizes, 200 silver prizes, and 200 bronze prizes to the outstanding entries.

The exhibition area featured a diverse array of tourism products reflecting regional uniqueness and technological advancements, such as celadon fortune cats and sitting pandas.

Experts lauded this year's competition not only for its record-breaking participation, but also for the exceptional innovativeness and quality of products, which sets a new standard for future events.

During the award ceremony, Chen Bin, the competition's chief referee, highlighted emerging trends in tourism product development. He underscored the industry's shift towards integrated cultural and tourism initiatives, the fusion of traditional content with modern technology, and the significance of material safety in product development.
