The second season of the documentary In Jinhua will premiere on Oct 19, telling more stories of Africa and Jinhua, Zhejiang province.
Following the widespread popularity of the documentary's first season in Africa in 2022, Jinhua has been gaining recognition among people in Africa. This program, set in Jinhua and focusing on China-Africa cultural exchanges, has won the hearts of African viewers, who are not only drawn to the stories but also to their continent's deep cultural connections with Jinhua.
After over a year, the Jinhua Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, and Tourism collaborated once again with StarTimes Group to produce this second season.
Differing from the first season's focus on Jinhua's local culture, the second season centers around stories of Africans in Jinhua against a backdrop of China-Africa cooperation.
Since the end of August, the production team has visited 10 Africans in Jinhua, including entrepreneurs, restaurant owners, e-commerce live streamers, couples, and international students.
