Temple fair showcases Jinhua's intangible cultural heritage

The 2024 Fangyan Temple Fair, themed on "Folk Customs and Colorful Zhejiang", opened at the Fangyan Scenic Area in Yongkang, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on Oct 9.

During the opening ceremony, a variety of intangible cultural heritage items were showcased on stage, including the "18 butterflies" dance, Pujiang rolling dragon, Youbu lion dance, and Dongyang Caizhai stilt, earning rounds of applause from an excited audience.

The event also featured a food market and a cultural and creative products market, allowing visitors to indulge in delicious treats and purchase unique intangible cultural heritage products from various regions in Jinhua.
