At the Shuangqiao Rice Field Park in Yiwu, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, rice fields have been decorated with creative patterns to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Tide News reported on Sept 25.
Patterns include the Chinese characters meaning national prosperity and people's well-being, and images of the China-Europe freight trains.
"September is the best time to admire the rice field. During holidays, the park receives an average of over 2,000 visits per day," said Feng Xiangwei, the person in charge of the park.
He added, "The continuous flow of visitors has not only brought significant tourism income to the local area but also increased the economic value of the farm, promoting the deep integration of agriculture and tourism."
Within the park, workers were busy renovating walkways, rest areas, and photo spots on Sept 25 to provide a better experience for visitors during the upcoming National Day holiday. During the holiday, visitors will be able to enjoy a panoramic view of this creative rice field on the viewing tower next to the field.
