The China (Mexico) Trade Fair 2024 was held in Mexico from Sept 17 to 19, showcasing 91 enterprises from Jinhua, Zhejiang province, across 125 booths in sectors like home furnishings, textiles, and hardware.
The fair saw Jinhua companies secure over $6.5 million in on-site transactions, with intended deals totaling $33 million.
A dedicated Jinhua exhibition area highlighted premium exhibitors, displaying top-notch products manufactured in Jinhua. The China (Jinhua)-Mexico Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum further solidified partnerships, with multiple Jinhua enterprises signing agreements with local businesses.
Jinhua enterprises made significant strides in tapping into the American market. For instance, Zhejiang Teammax Tool Manufacturing Co, focusing on small and medium-sized orders, secured a $350,000 deal on its Mexican debut. Lianhui Leisure Products Co, meanwhile, attained dozens of Mexican distributors during the fair, with initial orders estimated at $100,000.
Several enterprises tailored products for the Mexican market and hired local translators to better understand consumer preferences and cultural customs in Mexico.
The event has bolstered cross-border partnerships, enhancing Jinhua's brand recognition and reputation in the Americas.
