A total of 18 students from the Moroccan Yiwu Business School visited the Lutian Academy in Jinhua's Shuanglong Scenic Area on July 18. They immersed themselves in Chinese Confucianism by wearing Hanfu, learning Han etiquette, and writing Chinese characters.
The Moroccan Yiwu Business School, the first overseas branch of Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College, organized this event as the students' first overseas study tour since the school's establishment at the end of 2023.
During the event, the students wore blue robes embroidered with dragon patterns and listened to a legendary story. Under the guidance of etiquette teachers, they practiced traditional rituals such as bowing and hand gestures. Later, a calligraphy teacher taught them to write the characters for "double" and "dragon", showcasing the beauty of Chinese characters.
Salma, a Moroccan student, shared her excitement: "This is my first time experiencing Chinese culture up close. The beauty of Chinese characters, the elegance of Hanfu, and the solemnity of Han etiquette deeply impressed me with the peaceful, serene, harmonious, and inclusive power of Chinese culture. It was truly an unforgettable experience."
The Moroccan students also visited attractions such as Shuanglong Cave and Yunzhong Creek.
