At Jinyi Lake in Jindong district, Jinhua's first autonomous bus underwent road testing on July 7.
This driverless vehicle, which has neither driver nor steering wheel, maintains a speed of 20 kilometers per hour and can carry up to eight passengers at a time.
Equipped with L4 autonomous driving technology, it can avoid pedestrians and vehicles, change lanes, steer automatically, and recognize traffic lights, making travel more convenient and efficient.
The autonomous bus is expected to complete its road test by September and enter its demonstration phase in October. It will cover a planned route of approximately 6.5 km, providing shuttle services for visitors at Jinyi Lake.
