On June 20, the X8026 China-Europe freight train, loaded with 110 containers of furniture, daily necessities, household appliances, machinery, and hardware tools, departed from Yiwu West Railway Station in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, heading for Romania's Constanța Port.

The train will exit China via the Horgos railway port, traversing Kazakhstan and Georgia, crossing the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea, and ultimately arriving at Istanbul Port in Turkey and Constanța Port in Romania.

The route connects Central Asia, the Caspian Sea region, the Black Sea region, and the Mediterranean, with further links to various European countries. This expansion of Zhejiang's international rail-sea multimodal transport model towards Europe will extend the reach of the Yiwu China-Europe freight train across the Eurasian continent, noted a local official.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Yiwu China-Europe freight train. Over the past decade, Yiwu has launched 20 direct international freight routes to destinations such as the five Central Asian countries and Spain, covering more than 50 countries and over 160 cities across the Eurasian continent.
