The first Jinhua ham theme park in Jinhua, Zhejiang province recently opened to the public.
This charming pocket park nestled within Longchuan Park intricately weaves together the history, production processes, nutritional significance, and culinary traditions of Jinhua ham.
The park offers a vibrant immersion into the world of Jinhua ham by showcasing a plethora of models, sculptures, images, texts, and tangible exhibits.
At the same time, Jinhua is actively seeking to revive the Jinhua two-end-black pig and Jinhua ham industries.
By 2030, the city aims to elevate its pork production landscape significantly — envisaging a pig production capacity exceeding 1 million heads and Jinhua ham output surpassing 6 million pieces.
With a targeted total industrial chain output value and brand worth of more than 10 billion yuan ($1.38 billion), Jinhua is poised to become a distinguished high-end pork supplier on a national scale, solidifying Jinhua ham's stature as a premier domestic ham brand.
