The trial operation of the sea-rail intermodal line linking Yongkangdong Railway Station to Shanghai Port commenced on April 18.
On the inaugural day, a fully loaded train carrying 60 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) of "Made in Yongkang" products ranging from hardware tools to solar panels are scheduled for shipment from Shanghai Port to destinations including Belgium and other European and American countries.
This significant milestone marks the fourth launch of a sea-rail intermodal container train from the station, contributing to the development of a robust domestic and international dual circulation logistics channel.
