A rural tour route in Dongyang, a county-level city in Jinhua, Zhejiang province has been recognized as a national boutique leisure route, as recently announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.
A total of sixty rural tour routes in the country made the list.
Comprising four scenic spots — Xiangtian flower sea, Baliwan shared garden, Yaoyi village, and Huayuan village — this route offers a diverse and enriching experience.
The Xiangtan flower sea has garnered attention as an outdoor filming location for Hengdian World Studios, showcasing captivating agricultural sights such as rapeseed flowers, sunflowers, lotus flowers, and more.
The Baliwan shared garden, sprawling across over 2,800 mu (186.67 hectares) of farmland, provides visitors with an exceptional and immersive farming experience.
Yaoyi village, with its rich history spanning over 1,000 years of kiln production, stands as a testament to the region's cultural heritage, offering visitors a unique opportunity to experience kiln culture and pottery making.
Huayuan village presents a picturesque countryside that deftly integrates high-tech industries, modern agriculture, redwood, and architecture, making it a multifaceted destination for tourists seeking a blend of tradition and innovation.
