Jinhua bolsters vocational education partnership with Rwanda

A signing ceremony to enhance vocational education collaboration between Jinhua Polytechnic in Zhejiang province and Rwanda Polytechnic in Musanze took place on March 28, local time.

During the event, Rwandan Minister of Education Gasparde held talks with the Jinhua delegation, pointing out that collaboration between Jinhua and Rwanda is beneficial for development of Rwanda's vocational education and the socioeconomic transformation, and expressing hopes for deeper exchanges and interactions between the two sides.

Wang Xuekun, the Chinese ambassador to Rwanda, highlighted that the Luban Workshop, established by Jinhua and Rwanda, will significantly enhance the employability of Rwandan youth, providing crucial talent support for Sino-Rwandan industrial cooperation and beyond.

Zhu Chonglie, Party secretary of Jinhua, stated that Jinhua will implement practical cooperation initiatives and strengthen industrial collaboration, facilitate trade, and promote cultural exchanges, creating a hub for China-Africa exchanges and cooperation.

Claudette, head of state affairs of the Rwandan Ministry of Education, stated that the bilateral cooperation has played a crucial role in improving the educational environment in Rwanda and enhancing the skills of the youth, with over 5,000 Rwandan youth having benefitted from the initiative.
