At a news conference on Feb 27, Jinhua in Zhejiang province rolled out a series of favorable policies aiming to expand effective investment, strengthen scientific and technological innovation, and nurture industrial clusters.
According to information provided at the conference, the city's financial budget has allocated a total of 27.27 billion yuan ($3.79 billion) in funding support, an increase of 2.77 percent year-on-year, concentrating financial resources to accomplish major tasks.
Authorities will channel more resources into the private economy. This strategy not only focuses on attracting large enterprises and high-caliber talents, but also emphasizes cultivating and supporting outstanding enterprises.
To promote the green and low-carbon transformation of the energy sector, Jinhua has for the first time introduced subsidy policies for energy-saving renovations, energy management, green certificate demonstration projects, and user-side energy storage projects, with subsidies ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 yuan.
The reward standard for national-level "little giant" enterprises in the city has also been increased from 1 million yuan to 1.2 million yuan.
In addition, authorities are prioritizing efforts to rally more companies to expand into overseas markets, aiming to propel high-level international engagement.
