Jinhua in Zhejiang province has implemented a comprehensive set of measures aimed at stabilizing employment, retaining workers, and fostering job opportunities both before and after the Spring Festival holiday.
Notably, on Feb 18, a public service event was organized specifically for the unemployed, featuring policy explanations, showcasing successful entrepreneurial cases, providing skills training, and hosting job fairs.
A total of 4,425 individuals took part in the event, with 393 companies offering a combined 11,675 job positions.
On the same day, a distinctive job fair took place on a train journeying from Yingtan, Jiangxi province to Jinhua, offering 435 positions, including jobs such as general labor, forklift operators, welders, and more.
This initiative garnered significant interest, with a total of 1,394 individuals expressing their desire to secure employment through the on-site recruitment activities in the city.
Jinhua has organized over 500 recruitment events over the same period, engaging nearly 3,000 companies and attracting almost 90,000 job seekers, ultimately resulting in 19,000 individuals expressing their intention to secure employment.
In addition, authorities dispatched special task forces to provinces such as Yunnan, Hunan, Guizhou and Henan to conduct labor cooperation and coordination activities.
