The third session of the eighth Jinhua Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) commenced on Jan 29.
During the gathering, CPPCC members dedicated their focus to development, engaging in deliberations on major issues, promoting democracy, and seeking common strategies.
The meeting emphasized key areas of high-quality development, rural revitalization, common prosperity, integrated culture and tourism development, and addressing crucial citizen wellbeing issues.
In addressing policies that benefit businesses, support to enterprises, and enterprise regulation, the suggestion was made for policies benefiting enterprises to be easily accessible and promptly enjoyed.
It was proposed that policy supply should be more cohesive, implementation and fulfillment should be expedited, and assistance to enterprises should be characterized by warmth and empathy.
Additionally, there was a call for the construction of the Jinhua land-sea port hub to leverage export advantages continuously, increase import trade volume, fill in import trade gaps, expand non-economic and trade cooperation, and strengthen air cargo transportation functions, all aimed at resolving the issue of insufficient imports.
