The Jinhua New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Conference, also known as the Leapmotor 2023 Global Partner Conference, opened in Jinhua, Zhejiang province on Dec 22.

Zhu Chonglie, Party secretary of Jinhua, stated at the conference that authorities have in recent years been focusing on fostering 10 signature industrial chains and accelerating the development of a modern industrial system characterized by the integration of the digital and real economies.

The city has established a complete vehicle production system with a focus on pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid vehicles and formed an automotive part manufacturing industrial chain centered around engines, power batteries, electric motors, and transmissions.
The city also has a large number of ongoing new energy vehicle projects, which will spur the development of a comprehensive new energy vehicle industrial chain and accelerate the development of a new energy vehicle and parts industrial cluster.
