Jinhua in Zhejiang province announced plans to bolster its 10 major industrial chains on Dec 21 and held an investment promotion conference on the new energy vehicle and core component industrial chain during the event.
Several industry experts from home and abroad were appointed as counselors for the new energy vehicle and core component industrial chain.
Zhu Chonglie, Party secretary of Jinhua, noted during the event that the city has in recent years been making efforts to foster industrial chains covering new energy vehicles and key components, intelligent photovoltaics and new energy storage, electric tools, textiles and apparel, biopharmaceuticals and implantable medical devices, magnetic materials, integrated circuits and information technology, electronic chemicals, industrial machinery, and robotics.
Zhu added that the 10 key industrial chains aim to strengthen the connection between the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, promote collaborative innovation and integrated development among large, medium, and small enterprises, facilitate the overall advancement of the industrial chains, and accelerate the shaping of new development advantages.
Jinhua will sustain efforts to optimize its business environment by strengthening government services, rolling out a series of favorable policies, and channeling more resources into the 10 major industrial chains, according to Zhu.
