Ten places in Jinhua, Zhejiang province have been shortlisted as provincial historical and cultural relics, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced on Dec 14.
Here are a few of them.
Shangyang village
Located at the intersection of Jinhua, Lishui, and Quzhou, Shangyang village boasts a well-preserved ancient street lined with over 30 traditional buildings.
Erxianqiao village
Situated in Jindong district, Erxianqiao village offers a wealth of cultural landscapes and is renowned for its brick, stone, and wood-carving artworks.
Lu-Family Residence
The Lu-Family Residence in Dongyang is a major historical and cultural site under national-level protection.
The 500-mu (33.33 hectares) residence, which is renowned for its brick, stone, and wood carvings as well as colorful paintings, is the largest and best-preserved complex of ancient buildings in the Jiangnan region - the areas south of the Yangtze River.
