The 21st China (Jinhua) Flower and Seedling Expo was held in Jindong district, Jinhua, Zhejiang province on Nov 26.
The fair has been held for 20 years in a row and has become a highly influential trade fair and industry exchange platform in the domestic flower and plant industry.
The district has a planting area of 100,000 mu (about 66,666 hectares) for flowers and seedlings, with annual sales revenue of over 5 billion yuan ($784 million). Nearly 100,000 people are employed in the floral and horticultural industries, with an average income of 70,000 yuan per person.
The China Ornamental Seedling Product Information Handbook was released and several strategic cooperation agreements were signed during the opening ceremony.
