A swarm of tourists recently hit the Shenlixia scenic area in Pujiang county, Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, to enjoy its pleasant climate and cool breeze, especially after a sprinkling of rain.
A tourist from Jiangsu province commented that it's amazingly cool here and said he had to sleep with a quilt.
Many people are coming to escape the extreme heat still lingering in cities of Jinhua and Taizhou.
A national 4A scenic attraction, the scenic area is best known for its waterfall and has a reputation of being a sort of natural air conditioner. It has also done quite a bit to protect its forested areas, with a coverage rate of more than 85 percent.
Dubbed "a natural oxygen bar", the scenic area is the perfect choice for people suffering from the heat, especially urban heat.
