The 10th China-Russia Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) Cooperation Roundtable was held in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang Province on July 19.
The meeting has been held consecutively since 2007 and has become an important platform for business exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, representatives from both China and Russia delivered speeches highlighting the importance of the event in promoting practical cooperation between SMEs of the two countries.
They emphasized the need for entrepreneurs to seize the opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative and the Eurasian Economic Union to strengthen economic and trade activities and take local cooperation between China and Russia to a new level.
The conference, attended by over 100 companies from both China and Russia, focused on the theme of "China-Russia SME Cooperation in the Context of Belt and Road Initiative and Eurasian Economic Union Construction." It provided a platform for enterprises from both countries to engage in discussions and negotiations and aimed to achieve mutual benefit and win-win cooperation.
As Jinhua is an important city along the Belt and Road, the local government expressed its commitment to further promoting trade and expanding cooperation with Russia. It pledged to provide excellent services and create more opportunities for SMEs to play a significant role in the economic cooperation between China and Russia.
