The Lu-Family Residence
The Lu-Family Residence in Dongyang, a county-level city in Jinhua, is a major historical and cultural site under national-level protection.
The 500-mu (33.33 hectares) residence, which is renowned for its brick, stone, and wood carvings as well as colorful paintings, was built by Lu's ancestors, who settled there in the early Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279).
