Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province has in recent years made significant progress in smart education.
The city's digital applications have received national and provincial recognition, with the click traffic of the "shuangjiantong" app reaching 115 million, and the "ruxuetong" app providing inquiry services to 9.3 million visitors.
A total of 225,000 students were enrolled through the "ruxuetong" app in 2022.
Jinhua has also launched a campaign to build urban-rural integrated education communities, and as of the end of 2022, the city had built 359 such communities where 45 online courses have been offered.
Zhu Shaobang, a chemistry teacher who has been teaching at Jinhua No 8 Middle School for 18 years, said that the smart blackboard makes it possible to give lessons in the classroom and online simultaneously, and the smart facility can also share high-quality educational resources with schools in rural areas.
Zhu Haifeng, who has been teaching information at Wucheng district's Yafan Primary School for 28 years, said that the voice answering system has made it possible for every student to have equal opportunities to raise their hands and answer questions.
