Tianshan village in Dongyang, a county-level city in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province, has been listed among the country's national-level traditional villages, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development announced on March 21.
A total of 1,336 villages in the country made the list.
Traditional villages are well-preserved ancient villages with abundant traditional cultural resources that are of great value to historical and cultural research.
Tianshan village, which has a history of more than 700 years, is best known for its ancient tea-horse path and ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368-1911).
Located at an altitude of 550 meters, the village is also an idyllic getaway for sightseeing.
