The 13th Peach Blossom Festival opened in Taoyuan village of Yuandong township in Jinhua, East China's Zhejiang province on March 16.
A series of events such as Wuju Opera performances, concerts and fairs are also being held during the festival.
The hosting of the festival is part of efforts by authorities to develop the rural tourism industry using its 12,000-mu (800 hectares) plantation of peach trees.
