A tree-planting event marking the beginning of the 200-day countdown to the Hangzhou Asian Games was held at the Jinhua Sports Center on March 7, where precious tree seedlings from all over Zhejiang province were donated and planted.
During the event, the Zhejiang Forestry Bureau presented Jinhua with 200 rare tree seedlings from 11 cities across the province.
Participants worked together to dig holes, plant and water the trees, and create a unique Asian Games forest with over 700 precious tree seedlings.
As one of the host cities of the 19th Asian Games, Jinhua will host the sepatakraw competitions and football group matches in September.
The tree-planting event is not only a symbol of environmental protection but also a demonstration of the spirit of the Asian Games. It marks a new milestone in preparations for the Asian Games and inspires people to work together to create a greener and more sustainable future.
