A business delegation from Yongkang, a county-level city of Jinhua, achieved deals with $112 million in intended investment at the 13th China-UAE Trade Expo, which took place in Dubai from Dec 19 to 21.
The delegation was made up of over 30 local enterprises, mainly working in the hardware industry.
Shi Huanzhang, director of market development at Zhejiang Feiyang Cup Industry Co, said the visit to the UAE is a rare opportunity to communicate with customers. During the visit, they talked with customers face-to-face about the development of invested projects and specific requirements, which helped to quickly resolve differences and allow the projects to be carried out smoothly.
Shi noted that the company will make about 150,000 new products with the latest requirement from their buyers annually in 2024.
Yongkang also hosted the Yongkang Hardware Industry Promotion Conference and Yongkang International Investment and Trade Fair in Dubai on Dec 20. During the event, businessmen from the UAE learned a lot about the business environment and industrial advantages of Yongkang and showed a strong desire for cooperation.
