A total of 10 companies from Jinhua were recently listed among the first batch of provincial technological "little giant" enterprises released by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
The number of listed companies ranked fourth in the province, following Hangzhou, Ningbo and Jiaxing.
The companies include Zhejiang Runva Winch Co, Zhejiang Hooeasy Smart Technology Co, Zhejiang Canwell Medical Co, Zhejiang FlashForge Technology Co, Zhejiang Fengdeng Environmental Protection Co, Zhejiang Linix Motor Co, Zhejiang Lanyu Digital Technology Co, Zhengyang Technology Co, Zhejiang Tianchen Glue Industry Co, and Zhejiang Jinaolan Machine Tool Co.
Meanwhile, two companies from Jinhua - Zhejiang Wanliyang Co Ltd and TOSPO Lighting of Hengdian Group - were listed among the leading tech companies in Zhejiang in 2022.
"Little giant" enterprises are outstanding high-tech small and medium-sized enterprises with high growth potential, advanced technology, and strong market competitiveness.
For the first time, Zhejiang made a list of provincial technological "little giant" enterprises which pays more attention to the hard technological strength of the enterprise. More than 80 percent of the 12 listed high-tech enterprises based in Jinhua work in the fields of advanced manufacturing and automation and new materials.
