Qingming Festival, or Tomb-Sweeping Day, is a traditional Chinese festival in which people pay respects to their ancestors and the dead. People in different regions of the country eat different foods to celebrate the day, according to their local customs.
To people in Pujiang town, Jinhua, Zhejiang province, qing ming guo, or dumplings made from weeds named pengcao, are eaten by blending weeds paste and glutinous rice powder together.
They feature stuffing such as pickles and tofu or brown sugar and sesame.
