Tea farmers in Wuyi county were sweeping away snow that had accumulated on tea plants on Feb 18 to protect the tea shoots from frostbite.
The entire county in East China's Zhejiang province had the day before saw heavy snowfall which brought around-10 centimeters of snow.
To alleviate the associated economic losses, the county's agriculture and rural affairs administration dispatched technicians to these farms to guide the removal of the snow.
Wuyi has long been a well-known tea manufacturing base. There are about 60,000 tea farmers in the county.
