Chinagoods, an online wholesale platform affiliated with the Yiwu International Trade Market, issued the label "premium shop" to 16,700 of its stores on Nov 26, which marked its one-year anniversary.

These stores were rigorously selected according to an evaluation of their sales volume, business credibility, as well as affordability, quality and originality of their products.

The online stores tagged "premium shop" will be allocated more display opportunities and are qualified to attend industry fairs and other business promotional activities. On the other hand, these stores are required to have a higher threshold for product quality, punctuality in delivery and settlement efficiency.

A brush manufacturer from Tongcheng city, Anhui province runs a shop in Area 2 of the Yiwu International Trade Market as well as an online store on the Chinagoods platform. According to the shopkeeper Ye Lifang, the company's designation as a "premium shop" has improved its exposure, resulting in a surge in sales.

The Chinagoods platform currently hosts the online stores of some 58,000 brick-and-mortar businesses and displays more than 6 million products. Over 6.3 million individuals have downloaded the mobile app for Chinagoods. The number of registered purchasers on the platform presently stands at 1.2 million. The platform is viewed about 5 million times every day.
