Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province opened an exhibition hall to showcase its historical and cultural research achievements on Nov 25.

The exhibition hall is located on the third floor of the city library and covers an area of about 400 square meters.

Exhibits are divided into 15 sections with different themes, including agricultural origin, religion, poetry, painting, and philosophy.

Visitors immersed themselves in the ancient poems and admired masterpieces of modern poets such as Ai Qing, one of the "three poets of the people in the world" of the 20th century.

In the painting section, famous artworks such as Sixteen Arhats and Manual of the Mustard Seed Garden, the very first collection of guides about Chinese painting, are displayed.

A highlight is the Jinhua Series and Sequel of Jinhua Series that fill up an entire bookcase. In 2008, Jinhua initiated the renewal of the Jinhua Series and spent seven years adding 877 books and documents.

Jinhua has been making continuous efforts to excavate, sort, and research history documents, and so far made more than 4,200 historical and cultural research achievements.
