The county-level city of Lanxi – administered by Jinhua, in East China's Zhejiang province – on Nov 12 signed an agreement with tech giant Huawei to build an industrial digitalization base, the Jinhua Daily reported.

Representatives from the Lanxi municipal government, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd and Zhuhai-based Zhuhai Hengqin Yunxiang Technology Co., Ltd signed the construction contract.

In addition, the Lanxi Jinlan Innovation City Development and Construction Center and Zhuhai Hengqin Yunxiang Technology signed an agreement on-site.
This was to build an intelligent production line exhibition center, attract partners and to promote the transformation and upgrade of manufacturing.
