Jinhua city – situated in East China's Zhejiang province – handled 479 million pieces of express mail during this year's annual Singles Day shopping festival on Nov 1-11, up 26 percent year-on-year, according to statistics released by the State Post Bureau.
On Nov 11, the daily volume of online express business in Jinhua reached 60.9 million pieces, breaking the 60 million mark for the first time.
The highest number of deliveries in a single day was on Nov 11.
