Held both on-site and online, the fair is being co-sponsored by the National Forestry and Grassland Administration and the Zhejiang provincial government – in a bid to display new varieties, technologies, forms of business, equipment and forestry models.
The exhibition has attracted the participation of 1,878 domestic and foreign enterprises that have set up 3,009 international-standard stalls with an exhibition area of 70,000 square meters.
It has gathered more than 100,000 kinds of commodities in eight industries featuring furniture and accessories, wooden structures and building materials, wood and bamboo crafts, wood and bamboo daily necessities products, forest foods, tea, flowers and horticulture, as well as forestry technology and equipment.
The online exhibition is being connected for the first time to Chinagoods – a platform launched by Yiwu-based Zhejiang China Commodities City Group – to establish a "high-quality forest products exhibition and trade center". It has opened an online financial payment system and based on the platform data center it is said to be providing more business opportunities for exhibitors.
