Four commodities markets in the city of Jinhua – located in East China's Zhejiang province – recently made the cut for the China Commodity Markets Top 100 list, with one at the very top of the selection.

The list was released on Oct 22 during the 12th China Commodity Market Summit, co-hosted by the State Administration of Market Regulation and the Zhejiang provincial government, held in Yiwu, a county-level city administered by Jinhua.

Zhejiang had 33 commodities markets on the list, occupying a third of the total. Four in the top 10 of the list were Yiwu China Commodity City, Shaoxing China Textile City, Haining China Leather City and Tongxiang Puyuan Woolen Sweater Market.

In addition, a list of the "Top 10 leaders in China's commodity markets' digitization" was released during the summit.

Of these, Zhejiang had six in the list. Yiwu China Commodity City and Yongkang China Science and Technology Hardware City made the cut.
