The 16th China Yiwu Cultural and Tourism Products Trade Fair ran from Sept 25-27 in Yiwu – a county level city in East China's Zhejiang province – often dubbed "the world's supermarket".

The theme of this year's event was "Talking about the CPC's 100-year history, common prosperity, a beautiful life and a beautiful China".
Some 1,000 businesses and institutions from 26 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions participated in the event – displaying a rich variety of products ranging from traditional crafts to cultural and creative products.

Eight exhibition pavilions were set up, including a themed pavilion which staged performances presenting handicrafts. It drew attention to selected cultural heritage tourism products promoted at the site.
Great achievements made in poverty alleviation were also showcased, to help promote special associated local products.
Products from the Bazhou district of Bazhong city in Southwest China's Sichuan province were in spotlight, especially traditional Chinese medicine materials. This year the district began receiving paired-up assistance from Yiwu.
The fair is understood to have attracted more than 35,000 visits, up 179 percent on last year's event. The event's online platform and live broadcasts attracted 102.7 million clicks.
