The municipal government of Dongyang – a county-level city administered by Jinhua – forged a partnership with a subsidiary of Certusnet Information and Technology Co Ltd.

The parties agreed to cooperate on the development of a 5G industrial park, which will be on a site covering 160,000 square meters, with a total floor space of 75,000 sq m. It will house R&D operations and have the capability to produce 5GO-RAN small base stations, among other things.

An executive of Certusnet said the plant would have the maximum capacity of 30,000 sets of products per year, generating sales of 3.6 billion yuan ($558 million).

Another contract was inked between the government of Jinyi New District – located in Jinhua  – and Beijing Chenguang Rongxin Technology Co Ltd.

This will pave the way for the establishment of a company in the Loongson Smart Industrial Park, that will create an ecosystem centered on innovations in information technology applications.
