The 2021 Hengdian Film & TV Festival of China will be held in the Hengdian World Studios, known as "Chinese Hollywood" in Dongyang – a county-level city administered by Jinhua, in East China's Zhejiang province – on Oct 20-23, the Jinhua Daily reported.
This year's festival will include a series of films and TV cultural industry expos, domestic films and TV promotion conferences as well as film and TV talent exchanges and meetings.
With a total of 25 awards to be given out, it is understood that this year the festival will pay more attention to young talent in the film and TV industry.
In the first half of this year, total revenue generated by Hengdian World Studios hit 10.37 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), up 30.1 percent year-on-year.
