Two athletes from Jinhua city – located in East China's Zhejiang province – will compete at the upcoming Tokyo Paralympic Games scheduled to be held from Aug 24 to Sept 5, the local media reported.
The men, Xu Zengbing and Wang Qiang, will reportedly take part in the seated volleyball competition.

Xu Zengbing, 25, was born in county-level city of Lanxi, under the jurisdiction of Jinhua. Xu was selected to the provincial seated volleyball team in 2010 and subsequently qualified to enter the national team thanks to his excellent performance at the 9th National Games for Persons with Disabilities in 2015.
In 2019, Xu's team won the championship at the 10th National Games for Persons with Disabilities. Moreover, Xu played as a core player at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, when the Chinese team finished seventh.

Wang, 30, was born in the county-level city of Dongyang, administered Jinhua. He was chosen for the provincial disabled swimming team – due to his outstanding athletic talent – at the age of eight. In 2009, the national men's seated volleyball team was established and Wang joined the team.
In 2018, Wang and Xu jointly competed in the 3rd Asian Paralympic Games, when the Chinese team won the silver medal.
