Jinhua residents' incomes surge in H1

The incomes of residents of the prefecture-level city of Jinhua, situated in East China's Zhejiang province, jumped in the first half of the year, according to the latest official data. 

In the first six months, the per capita disposable income of permanent urban residents in Jinhua was 35,666 yuan ($5,507), an increase of 13.5 percent year-on-year, according to the Statistics Bureau of Jinhua.

The growth rate in the city's rural areas was much higher than that in urban areas and the income gap between the two continued to narrow. In the first half, the per capita disposable income of permanent rural residents was 20,021 yuan, up 17.4 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, the per capita wage income of Jinhua's permanent urban residents reached 19,564 yuan, an increase of 12.1 percent year-on-year, accounting for 54.9 percent of their disposable income. 

The per capita operating net income of its permanent urban residents was 5,043 yuan, up 34.5 percent over the same period last year.

In addition, the average wage income of the city's permanent rural residents was 11,528 yuan, up 22.5 percent year-on-year. The per capita net property income of the city's permanent rural residents was 1,021 yuan, up 25.3 percent year on year.
