The Zhejiang Guangsha Vocational and Technical University of Construction is located in Dongyang, a county-level city administered by the city of Jinhua in East China's Zhejiang province.
Catering to the needs of its local industries, the university has established a syllabus with civil engineering and architecture as the lead majors, along with advanced equipment manufacturing, electronics information, finance and commerce, culture and art and other majors.
The university offers a variety of entrepreneurship and innovation courses. There is a student entrepreneurship center on campus, to provide an incubation and support platform for students to start up businesses.
The school has established international cooperative relations with universities and colleges around the world.
In October 2018, an international student program with the Republic of Congo was undertaken. As a result, the first batch of 21 students from African country came to the university to study wood carving for four years.
