Daka China - Jinhua, A Golden Hub of BRI network international communication event began in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, on June 6.
Over two days, more than 30 live-streaming hosts from over 20 countries will visitDongyang and Yiwu, two county-level cities in Jinhua, to experience local screen culture, market trade, e-commerce livestreaming, rural life, and intangible cultural heritage.
Ammar Al-Baadani from Yemen shared his admiration for China's successful fight against COVID-19 and great affection for Zhejiang and Jinhua.
He said, "I've been living in China for more than 20 years and it's the friendly residents and strong international atmosphere that attract me to stay in Yiwu. I expect to tell the country's achievements and experience to the people around the world."
Zhejiang University's overseas student Martina Gdovinova from Slovakia, who has 400,000 followers on Bilibili, one of the largest video and social platforms in China, said, "I've gone to many places in China and what impressed me most was my life in Zhejiang. Among all the cities in the province, I've developed a deep affection for Jinhua."
She added, "I'm interested in and curious about Jinhua and hope I will have the chance to visit all the places in the city and share more interesting stuff to foreign friends."
"Daka China" is a key online international communication brand in Zhejiang that aims to tell Zhejiang stories to the world through the internet.
As one of the three city clusters and four metropolitan areas in Zhejiang, Jinhua has been taking its advantages in transportation, trade, and culture to contribute to the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative in recent years.
