Jiaxipera Compressor Co, the world's largest manufacturer of refrigerator compressors, is closing in on a major production milestone — its 500 millionth unit.

With four plants in China and a full-capacity facility in Mexico, the Jiaxing-based company is pushing for a strong first quarter to start the year. It surpassed 50 million units produced in 2024, solidifying its global market share above 20 percent.

"The quality of our product is our core advantage," said He Weilin, head of the management department. "By identifying customer pain points, we're consistently ahead of market demand."

A new 3.2-kilogram compressor — lighter than the industry-standard 5 kg — is about to launch. Developed by Jiaxipera's 200-member R&D team, the unit offers the same energy efficiency with reduced material use and better space optimization. The company logs more than 180 innovation breakthroughs annually.

Jiaxipera has invested heavily in automation and digital upgrades across its operations, integrating over 20 digital systems covering R&D, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and quality control. At its third plant, output per line jumped from 9,000 to 12,000 units per day — a 30 percent gain over the industry average.

The company now operates 12 global sales and service teams and has expanded into more than 40 countries and regions, including growth targets in emerging markets across the Americas and Africa.
