The 2025 Haining China International Home Textile (Spring) Expo, held from March 3 to 5, is making a strong push for international trade in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.
On March 3 and 4, the "Xucun Premium" Home Textile Foreign Trade Matchmaking Conference brought together over 20 select textile enterprises from Xucun village with more than 60 overseas buyers from 30 countries, including the United States, Sweden, Italy, Mexico, Egypt, South Korea, and India.
Founded in 2001 and now in its 24th edition, the expo has become a key platform to show the rapid evolution of China's home textile industry. It provides an opportunity for Haining's manufacturers, particularly those in Xucun, to present their capabilities to a global audience.
"Haining is a city rich in cultural creativity and industrial innovation. It is also a major player in foreign trade, with more than 2,000 enterprises shipping products to over 100 countries and regions in 2024 alone," said Wang Yun, director of the Haining bureau of commerce.
By hosting targeted matchmaking events, the expo aims to streamline connections between buyers and suppliers, enabling international clients to find high-quality, reliable manufacturers with ease. At the same time, it offers Haining's textile exporters valuable insights into global market trends, helping them expand their reach and enhance their brand presence worldwide, said Wang.
