The 9th Asian Winter Games kicked off in Harbin on Feb 7, 2025. The award dress for the event was jointly crafted by Donghua University and Jiaxing Diwei Fashion Co Ltd, a prominent enterprise based in Puyuan town, a renowned textile hub in Jiaxing, Zhejiang province.

The dress fuses technology with fashion and integrates ice and snow motifs with advanced technology, offering elasticity, softness, comfort, and warmth. 

With new 3D design tech and tailored to the human body, the cloth enhances both fit and aesthetics while incorporating functional features in high-movement areas like the waist, abdomen, and elbows for dynamic warmth in cold environments. 

Diwei Fashion has been working with Donghua University since 2017. Together, they have established a knitting intelligent R&D center and implemented a talent dual mentor training program, serving as a shining example of Jiaxing's proactive approach to nurturing university-enterprise collaborations.

Diwei Fashion's participation in the Asian Winter Games underscores Puyuan's prowess in smart manufacturing and sports knitting. Puyuan's strategic initiatives, including the establishment of the China Puyuan Sports Knitting Industry Innovation and Development Promotion Center, have nurtured a cadre of leading enterprises in the sports knitting sector seeking to unleash new quality productive forces.
