The 15th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition in Zhuhai, also known as the Zhuhai Airshow, has attracted over 890 companies from 47 countries, making it a top event for global aerospace collaboration. Among the standout exhibitors are companies from Jiaxing presenting cutting-edge products.
Hwahoo Aviation Technology Co Ltd based in Pinghu, a county-level city of Jiaxing, presented a hybrid flying motorcycle, an water rescue drone system, and the C42E classic light aircraft from a partner company at the static aircraft exhibit area.
The flying motorcycle was the only one of its kind at the airshow, and combines a two-wheeled motorcycle with an autogyro. This novel transport solution can quickly transition between land and air modes and is set to begin production in Pinghu soon.
A representative from Hwahoo noted that the Zhuhai Airshow is an excellent platform to display their latest research and stay updated on industry trends. It allows them to demonstrate their technical expertise and production capabilities, giving the public a clear view of trends in commercial aviation and market demands while exploring growth opportunities in the low-altitude economy.
Jiaxing is making significant strides in the low-altitude economy by strengthening strategic planning, expanding application scenarios, and enhancing industry collaboration. The published Jiaxing High-Quality Development of Low-Altitude Economy Implementation Plan (2024–27) has showed the city's focus on creating low-altitude industry clusters in Pinghu and Haining, and demonstration centers in Nanhu district and Haining. These are part of efforts to make Jiaxing a leading hub for the low-altitude economy in the Yangtze River Delta.
