Asian Weightlifting Training Center unveiled in Jiaxing

The Asian Weightlifting Training Center, a new beacon for the development of the sports industry, was inaugurated in Haining, a county-level city of Jiaxing, Zhejiang province, on April 29.
This center is a testament to Haining's commitment to sports infrastructure and the power of social forces in pushing forward the sports industry.
Mohammed Jalood, president of the International Weightlifting Federation, offered his congratulations on the center's establishment during the opening ceremony.
The center, spanning 33,000 square meters, is equipped for various sports, including basketball and badminton. It also includes a five-layer training hall and a 19-layer athlete apartment, providing entrepreneurship training and event hosting platforms for retired athletes, as well as facilities for physical rehabilitation and public fitness. The comprehensive sports facility will also serve as a training venue for both international and domestic teams.
The center is expected to draw Asian weightlifters for training, contributing to Haining's weightlifting scene. With top-notch facilities and equipment, it provides excellent conditions for teams and public fitness activities, aiming to elevate Haining's sports industry.
Citizens can access the center for free from 6:30 am to 8:30 am every day, reflecting its aim to foster public health through sports. This initiative is set to enhance the community's sports engagement and overall well-being, furthering the city's sports development.
