A record total of 525 Jiaxing enterprises participated in the 135th China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, which opened on April 15 and will last until May 5 in Guangzhou. 

Covering an area of 1.55 million square meters, the fair features 28,600 businesses, including 680 for the import exhibition and over 4,300 newcomers for export exhibition.

Over 100 provincial and city-level export brands as well as 45 first-time small and medium-sized businesses from Jiaxing are participating, bringing over 30,000 products, including about 15,000 new products.

Jiaxing’s Zhejiang Yili Electric Co Ltd stood out with its fourth-generation fabric cleaner, while Zhejiang New Shengda Fastener Co Ltd showcased innovative high-strength screws, aiming to explore markets involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Zhejiang Zhejiang Zhaohui Filter Technology Co Ltd introduced its eco-friendly packaging bags, in line with the fair's focus on innovation and sustainability.

The Canton Fair continues to be a crucial platform for Jiaxing manufacturers to demonstrate their capabilities and forge new international relationships. This year, nearly 400 major exhibitions are planned, with the aim of showcasing Jiaxing's manufacturing prowess to the world.
