Pinghu toys debut at Hong Kong fair
The 50th Hong Kong Toy & Game Fair, the first global toy exhibition of 2024, kicked off on Jan 8 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center.
A total of 24 enterprises from Pinghu, a county-level city of Jiaxing in Zhejiang province, participated in the fair, showcasing many new and high-quality products across a vast 594-square-meter exhibition area.
The fair, along with the 15th Hong Kong Baby Products Fair and the 22nd Hong Kong Stationery & School Supplies Fair, attracted over 2,600 exhibitors from 35 countries and regions.
For Pinghu enterprises, the Hong Kong serves as a pivotal platform to expand their international market. Last year, they engaged with over 600 potential customers, resulting in on-site transactions exceeding $1.5 million.
Zhejiang Jiajia Ride-on unveiled a diverse range of products, including children's electric four-wheelers, tricycles, beach cars and go-karts, primarily featuring authorizations by brands like BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Bentley, Volkswagen and Lexus. A particular highlight was Mercedes-Benz's latest EQG new electric car, which entered mass-production in December last year.
Pinghu Dake Baby Carrier showcased electric children's cars from prestigious brands such as Land Rover, McLaren, Jeep, Toyota, Volvo and Bombardier. Making its international debut, the latest Mercedes AMG G63 4*4 electric children's car received rave reviews and attracted nearly a hundred professional buyers on the first day.
